What scaffolding accreditations do we have and what do they mean?
At Inspired Scaffolding Services Ltd we are extremely proud of our industry accreditations, because we feel they reflect our ongoing commitment to the health and safety of our staff and customers.
As a company we are always reviewing practices and striving to better ourselves, so we can not only meet, but exceed industry norms in terms of high quality standards and safety measures. To achieve this, we work closely with a range of construction and scaffolding trade associations that can assess and advise us independently. Doing so has helped us to become one of the leading scaffolding contractors in not only Nottingham, but across the whole of the UK.
Below, we provide a brief introduction to all of the trade bodies that Inspired Scaffolding Services Ltd are registered and/or maintain memberships with.
NASC – National Access & Scaffolding Confederation
Inspired Scaffolding Services Ltd are a full NASC member.
NASC is the leading trade body for the access and scaffolding industry. Established in 1945, it serves as the benchmark for quality among commercial and domestic scaffolding contractors.
NASC members are strictly and regularly audited. To maintain membership, full compliance with NASC’s thorough Code of Conduct and Code of Practice for scaffolding are essential. This ensures the highest possible safety standards and quality of service are adhered to.

Constructionline
Inspired Scaffolding Services Ltd are registered on the Constructionline database, the largest Government owned register of contractors and suppliers within the construction industry.
Constructionline assess suppliers and ensure that they comply with new standards and requirements. This helps us lead the way in terms of keeping ahead of changing regulation.

Builders Profile
Builders Profile is a large common database service, providing compliance and PQQ information to clients, contractors and subcontractors. It allows all parties involved in the construction supply chain to view and share information, documents and tools required to make informed decisions.
Inspired Scaffolding Services Ltd have been registered as a scaffolding contractor with Builders Profile since 25/04/2014 and we have passed all subsequent annual audits.

SMAS – Safety Management Advisory Services
SMAS are an SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) member and a dedicated health and safety assessment organisation. Their professionally qualified team of assessors ensure that health and safety regulations are upheld within the construction industry.
We have been a registered domestic and commercial scaffolding contractor with SMAS since 04/06/2011 and have passed all annual audits thereafter.

CSS – Considerate Constructors Scheme
Construction companies, contractors and suppliers can register with the Considerate Constructors Scheme by agreeing to abide by the Code of Considerate Practice.
We registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme on 22/02/2016.
Safe Contractors
Safe Contractors are “one of the fastest growing health and safety assessment schemes in the UK.”
They help to ensure that health and safety paperwork is up to date and procedures are in line with legal industry requirements.
Our membership with Safe Contractors commenced on 11/08/2017 and we have continued to meet their standards since.
